GLF Schools was founded in 2012 in order to enable the federation of Glyn School (an academy in 2011) and Danetree Junior School. Together, we began our journey to become a MAT of more than 1000 talented staff working with over 10,000 children in 40 schools across 5 regions in southern England.

Today we are celebrating the hard work and achievements of our students here at Glyn School.  Whilst students’ studies and preparation for the exams were abruptly halted by the lockdown at the end of March and the cancellation of the GCSE exams for this summer, we want to celebrate their many achievements.

Preparations for the exams began long before the lockdown in March and we are immensely proud of the determination and grit shown by this cohort. The lost opportunity to sit the formal exams was a great shame but this really is a small part of a five-year journey. The students have developed into young adults who personify the values of Glyn School and we are immensley proud of them.

 

Notable achievements:

Reuben Gabb: Deservedly awarded grade 9s in all subjects.

Richie Fagan: Determined to succeed, Richie worked exceptionally hard throughout his GCSEs:  

Mateusz Krawiec: Superb focus and perseverance for the last two years achieving a fantastic set of results. 

Noah Ogun: Relentless focus on improvement and awarded extremely high grades across the board as a result.
