GLF Schools was founded in 2012 in order to enable the federation of Glyn School (an academy in 2011) and Danetree Junior School. Together, we began our journey to become a MAT of more than 1000 talented staff working with over 10,000 children in 40 schools across 5 regions in southern England.

Huge Successes in Biology Challenge

225 Year 9 and 10 students took part in the Biology Challenge run by the Royal Society of Biology.

The competition consists of two online multiple choice papers that cover many aspects of Biology. We had a number of successful students who achieved the Gold award by achieving 81 correct responses, or above, out of 106.

Congratulations to  Alex 10D, James 10A, Ioic 10B, Simon 10D, Ben 10T, Luca 10D, and Alfie 10M, who all achieved the Gold standard.

There were also eight students who achieved the Silver award, eight students who achieved the Bronze award, and many more students who received Highly Commended, so our students performed extremely well in this challenge.
