GLF Schools was founded in 2012 in order to enable the federation of Glyn School (an academy in 2011) and Danetree Junior School. Together, we began our journey to become a MAT of more than 1000 talented staff working with over 10,000 children in 40 schools across 5 regions in southern England.

CCF at Ewell Remembrance Service

CCF In Attendance at St Mary’s Ewell Remembrance Service

A selection of the Glyn CCF Cadets were proud to take part in the Remembrance Service at St Mary’s Ewell on Sunday 10 November. They were drilled by Flt Sgt Mason 13SB and Sgt Baker 12O2 in preparation. A wreath was laid by William 10SB, while Flt Sgt Mason was in charge of marching the section through Ewell. 

I would personally like to thank AUO (Adult Under Officer) Caverhill and Mr Eady for giving up their time on Sunday so that we were able to show our respects by attending the service. I know the Cadets also appreciate the time staff give up for them, as they are always quick to say ‘thank you’.

The Cadets can be very proud of their conduct during both the school and Ewell services:

Thaarugan 12D, Tom 11SB, Joel 13D, William 10SB, Miss Caverhill, Mr Eady, Spencer 11M and Alex 13SB
