Old Glynians' Dinner - Wonderful Evening

Old Glynians’ 80th Anniversary Dinner Proved a Wonderful Evening

The Old Glynians' Association held its Annual Dinner in The Proctor Hall on Friday 27 April, celebrating its 80th anniversary.

For the first time for many years, the hall was packed and Old Glynians from each decade from the 1930s to the 1990s were in attendance, as well as some notable special guests.

Particular highlights were the address by Mr Summers, Head of History, outlining some of his breathtaking research into fallen Old Boys of World War 2, and the very amusing speech by Lucie Begbie, Deputy Head Girl, and James Kelly,  Deputy Head Boy.

The whole Student Leadership Team mingled effortlessly with our guests, and the Year 11 House Captains who served at table, were, as expected, an enormous credit to the school.
