Lego League Regional Finals - ‘Best Robot Design’

On Saturday 26 January the Lego League Club competed in the Regional Finals in the FIRST LEGO LEAGUE at Queen Mary’s University in East London.

It was an action-packed day, including robot games against other schools, presenting a project idea to a group of judges and having to prove core values to the judges.

After a long and gruelling day, the students were awarded ‘Best Robot Design’ trophy by the senior lecturer of Computer Science at Queen Mary’s University, Jane Waite, who was really impressed with the students’ coding and computational thinking skills.

Unfortunately we didn’t get through to the Nationals, but a great day was had by all. Hopefully next year we can go and battle our Lego robots again to try for a place at the Nationals.
