Christmas Jumper Day!

Christmas Jumper Day - Thursday 16 December 2021

There will be a non-uniform day on Thursday 16 December in aid of the charity, Women’s Aid.

Women’s Aid works to support women and children living in abusive households to gain the courage to leave abusive relationships and rebuild their lives. The charity undertakes invaluable research, such as the ‘No Woman Turned Away' project which seeks to understand the barriers to women and children being given access to refuge and to remove these.  They are also undertaking important work in light of the Covid-19 pandemic and the impact this has had on women and children living in unhappy homes

On Thursday 16 December, students may wear their own clothes and a Christmas jumper if they have one.  There will be a voluntary donation of £2 at the school gate in the morning, or there is an option to pay via ParentPay.

On non-uniform days students may wear their own clothes, but normal school rules will still apply with regards to jewellery and hairstyles.
