Admissions Years 7-11

Open Mornings for Year 7 Entry September 2019 being held on Tuesday 9, Wednesday 10 and Thursday 11 October 2018 from 9.30am to 11.00am.

Booking

Families wishing to view Glyn School for Year 7 entry in September 2019 are warmly invited to join us at one of our three Open Mornings in October 2018, as above.  There will be a short talk from the Headteacher followed by a tour of the school by our current Year 7 students.

We would like to ensure that we have sufficient students available to show families around the school. To help us plan, please complete a short form by clicking here: OPENING MORNING EXPRESSION OF ATTENDANCE FORM

The Open Mornings will start at 9.30am in The Proctor Hall and will be finished by 11.00am.

Parking

Please note that, other than disabled parking, we regret there is no parking available on the school site. The roads near our school are very narrow and become very congested, which presents an inconvenience for our neighbours. With this in mind, we would please ask you to park in the Sainbury's car park, which is in Weston Road/Kiln Lane area. It is worth noting that Sainsbury’s are now operating parking regulations and financial penalties are imposed if stays exceed three hours.

The school can be accessed on foot via the main school gate in The Kingsway from 9.20am onwards.

At Glyn we hope to make your transition from primary to secondary school, or later on as an in-year transfer, as smooth as possible. Below you will find some useful information about the admissions process and links to relevant websites and contacts.

If you have any further queries please do not hesitate to contact the Admissions Department on 0208 716 4949.
