What a Smart Idea! - Kiran 11SB

Last week I had the pleasure of viewing Kiran's ‘smart mirror’ in action. Kiran 11SB has combined his astonishing Computer Science and DT skills to create something truly special.

At first glance, the crafting of the wood and choice of tint on the wood makes the mirror stand out simply from a regular day-to-day mirror.  Furthermore, on closer inspection, and with a wave of the hand, the mirror comes to life! Once woken from its slumber, the display lights up with the date, time, personal notifications and the weather forecast - seriously? It’s amazing.  Not only does it have this display feature, but - and hold on - you can even watch a video or a movie film on it! Kiran even added audio and built in an amplifier with a 20W speaker to create a brilliant clear audio playback. Once connected via Bluetooth, you can play any video that you like!
