GLF Schools was founded in 2012 in order to enable the federation of Glyn School (an academy in 2011) and Danetree Junior School. Together, we began our journey to become a MAT of more than 1000 talented staff working with over 10,000 children in 40 schools across 5 regions in southern England.

Young Journalists Club - Years 7 to 11

Students in Years 7 to 11 are invited to join our team of media enthusiasts to create a unique publication designed by students!  This could be a magazine, podcast or website, and will be created with the help of A Level Media students and teachers.

Young Journalists Club is a brilliant opportunity for students to enhance their media skills. Also, we will be entering a prestigious National competition later in the academic year, with prizes including masterclasses, workshops, and work experience with experts in the industry.

All interested students in Years 7 to 11 are invited to join our first team meeting on Wednesday 22 September at 1.30pm in E1.
