£2,993 Raised for Young Minds

The Christmas Fair was in full swing on Thursday 13 December, with students in Years 7,8 and 9 enjoying the variety of stalls. In a new initiative, our Year 9 Business Studies students also ran a collection of stalls with some excellent entrepreneurial skills being demonstrated. Highlights included the ever-popular arm wrestling, tombola, ‘keepy uppy’ challenge, ‘splat the rat’, and many more.

We thank the Sixth Form students and Year 9 Business Studies students for organising the Christmas Fair stalls, and the whole school for raising an incredible £2,993.93 for Young Minds charity. Thank you to all the families who have helped to support the Mufti Day by donating £2; we could not have raised such a fabulous amount for charity without your support.

This significant amount of money will now help young adolescents in need of mental health support via Young Minds, a charity we hold close to our hearts.
