GLF Schools

GLF Schools was founded in 2012 in order to enable the federation of Glyn School (an academy in 2011) and Danetree Junior School. Together, we began our journey to become a MAT of more than 1000 talented staff working with over 10,000 children in 40 schools across 5 regions in southern England.

Welcome

A warm welcome to all our new students, parents, carers and families!

We are excited to support you as you prepare to join our school community in September. This website has been designed to guide you through every step of the transition from primary to secondary school, helping you feel informed, confident, and ready for the journey ahead.

Starting secondary school is a big milestone, and we know it brings a mixture of excitement and nerves. Our aim is to make the process as smooth and reassuring as possible.

A message from our Year 7 Team

At Glyn School, we believe every child should feel known, supported and inspired from day one. Here you’ll find introductions to the key staff who will be working closely with Year 7, including our Assistant Headteacher for Key Stage 3, the Head of Year 7, the Deputy Head of Year 7 and our eight Year 7 Form Tutors and Pastoral Team.

We can’t wait to get to know you!

  • About Our School
  • Meet the Year 7 Team - start to get to know some of the key Pastroral Team who will be supporting you in September
