Head Girl Undertakes Charity 200th Parkrun Challenge in Memory of her Grandmother

Just before Christmas my Nan died of ovarian cancer. I was very close to my Nan; she was a wonderful, caring, friendly, supportive person and would do anything to help anyone.

Ovarian cancer is described as the silent killer because the symptoms of cancer do not show until it is in its advanced  stages. Cancer Research UK is the world's leading charity dedicated to research on the causes, treatment and prevention of cancer. Thanks to research, more people are surviving cancer than ever before.

Do you want to join me in making a difference?

I am raising money for Cancer Research UK to help everyone who has been affected by cancer. On Saturday 16 February, at Nonsuch Park, I will be running my 200th 5k Parkrun in honour of my Nan. My goal is to raise £1,000, and any amount, big or small, will be a great contribution to such a fantastic charity so close to my heart.

Thank you in advance for your contribution to this charity that means so much to me and thousands of other families    affected by cancer all across the UK.
