GLF Schools was founded in 2012 in order to enable the federation of Glyn School (an academy in 2011) and Danetree Junior School. Together, we began our journey to become a MAT of more than 1000 talented staff working with over 10,000 children in 40 schools across 5 regions in southern England.

Year 11 - Goodbye to Some!

Yesterday, we said goodbye to our Year 11 students during a Leavers’ Assembly, followed by a BBQ held in the Quad.  I can honestly say that I know no other Year group who have gone through so much together as a community. Year on year, each cohort surpasses the next, but the resilience and attitude that this particular group of young men has shown has been exceptional. We hope

they will remember their time at Glyn School with fond memories and that the future and next academic years are a little more ‘normal’ than they have been recently. Thank you to you, our Parents and Carers, for all your continued support over the last five years.

The vast majority of Year 11 students will return to Glyn in September when they will be joining Sixth Form.  Until then, we wish you all a restful summer.
