GLF Schools was founded in 2012 in order to enable the federation of Glyn School (an academy in 2011) and Danetree Junior School. Together, we began our journey to become a MAT of more than 1000 talented staff working with over 10,000 children in 40 schools across 5 regions in southern England.

Surrey CC School Admissions

Glyn School, is an Academy and our Multi Academy Trust, GLF Schools, is the Admissions Authority, with Surrey Admissions acting as the coordinating body for this area. Please use the link above to find up to date information about our school’s admission arrangements and details on how to apply, either as part of the normal intake, or during the school year.

Our Published Admissions Number (PAN) for Year 7, and capacity for Years 8-11, is 240 per year group.

Vacancies also arise as children move in-year and we would advise that you speak to us for the latest information. Please call the Admissions Officer on 020 8716 4949 or email admissions@glynschool.org.

Only applicants applying under Category 3 ‘children of staff’, must complete the Supplementary Information Form.

Applicants applying under Category 4 ‘any other children’ where places are offered on distance from the school, will need to provide a copy of an up-to-date Council Tax bill as proof of address.

Admission Policy 2021-2022 - Change of Notice

This provides notice that the GLF Trust Board has agreed a change to the admissions policies of all schools in the Trust for 2021 and 2022 to reflect that children who have been in state care outside of England,and ceased to be in care as a result of being adopted,must now be given the highest priority in oversubscription criteria, alongside looked after children and previously looked after children.This change comes into effect from 1 September 2021 and amends the admissions policies as already published for 2021 and 2022.
