Student Leadership and Extracurricular
Our Student Leadership Opportunities have been designed to ensure that students are empowered to drive positive changes in their school environment alongside honing leadership skills that will be invaluable to them in the workplace.
Our Sixth Formers are integral to our Student Leadership structures, applying for their positions by submitting a structured action plan outlining three changes they would like to see implemented under one of our our five ‘Prefect Pillars’
→ Inclusivity & Diversity
→ Mental Health & Wellbeing
→ House, Charity & Community
→ Teaching & Learning
→ Environment
Students who are successful in applying for these coveted positions work together to create one action plan, pulling together their individual ideas and identifying their strategy, considering potential barriers they may need to overcome along the way.
Student Ambassadors, recruited from Year 7-11, work alongside Sixth Formers to ensure that student voice feedback from across the school is considered when creating and enacting action plans.
Our Student Leadership Team is led by our Head Students and their Deputies appointed to these positions after running an election campaign whereby all students and staff in school vote for candidates on the basis of their vision for the academic year ahead.
