Charity Week

We were all left shocked and heartbroken at the sudden passing of Ben just before the Summer holiday; staff, students, his close friends and Form group miss him immensely.

Derby House, along with Oaks and St Benet Houses, will be holding their charity week from 25 to 28 November and we have unanimously agreed that we would raise funds for the charity CRY (Cardiac Risk in the Young) in memory of Ben. The charity offers subsidised ECG and Echocardiogram screening to all young people.

There will be many events taking place during Charity Week from 25 to 28 November, including football matches for each year group, cake sales, and many other fun events. 

Thursday 28 November

On Thursday 28 November, all students will be encouraged to wear red socks (or red and white football socks) to school in memory of Ben and his favourite football team, Arsenal. We would like to suggest a donation of £2.00.

We are hoping that all students will support the Charity Week events enthusiastically and help to raise much-needed funds for CRY.
