Can Glyn School keep the TTRS title?

So, what’s it all about…?

Times Tables Rock Stars is a website that allows students to practise their times tables whenever they wish.  All students have log in details and can use the system any time.  However, from Saturday 15 October for 3 weeks, we are running a competition across GLF Secondary schools where the Form group's that work out the most times tables correctly can help get their School and House to win the tournament.  The last time we ran this inter-school challenge, Glyn School won the competition by quite a distance, but I’m sure the other schools won’t let us have such a big lead this time around.

What does your child need to do…?

It’s simple.  All they need to do is log on to the site as often as they wish between 15/10/22 and 06/11/22.  Only activity between the hours of 6am and 9pm will count, just to make sure that no one is playing too late at night.

What can you do as a Parent or Carer…?

This is something that you can encourage your child to do daily.  10 minutes a day can make a massive difference to a Form group's score, and it will do wonders for students’ numeracy skills.  The great thing is that it’s fun, and however fast or accurate your child is, they can always just work to get a little better!

What do points mean….

Certificates and achievement points for the highest scoring school, individuals, and Form groups.
