GLF Schools was founded in 2012 in order to enable the federation of Glyn School (an academy in 2011) and Danetree Junior School. Together, we began our journey to become a MAT of more than 1000 talented staff working with over 10,000 children in 40 schools across 5 regions in southern England.

Disasters Emergency Committee - Charity Week

Charity Week - from Monday 23 to Friday 27 May - will be led by Derby and Tudor Houses. We will be holding a number of events during the week for all studentsin the school to take part in. 

Our chosen charity is the Disasters Emergency Committee.  This charity launches appeals when large-scale disasters hit countries that do not have the capacity to respond; currently the money raised will help the situations in Ukraine and Afghanistan.

Mr Hazzard v Mr Howard - dangerous games!

‘Mr Hazzard v Mr Howard’ will be a hotly-contested competition between the two House Leaders, involving incredibly dangerous games, such as Egg and Spoon Race, Dodgeball and Water Balloons.  Students will be able to buy ‘ammunition’ for either Mr Hazzard or Mr Howard in order to help them win the game!
