Year 7 Student Creates Rube Goldberg Machine

Dillan 7d sims

Dillan Put the Kettle On!

During Science Week, Key Stage 3 Virtual Science Club was set the task of creating a Rube Goldberg machine. This uses a set of reactions that work in succession, triggering one event after another until the final event is triggered. Often, each reaction is a simple task that will trigger the next, for example, a row of dominos, a well-calculated swinging object, or a ball rolling down a ramp.

Dillan 7D, created a Rube Goldberg machine to boil a kettle.

You can watch the amazing chain reaction here: VIDEO

If Dillan’s work has inspired you, why not have a go?
