GLF Schools was founded in 2012 in order to enable the federation of Glyn School (an academy in 2011) and Danetree Junior School. Together, we began our journey to become a MAT of more than 1000 talented staff working with over 10,000 children in 40 schools across 5 regions in southern England.

Year 9 Art - World of Nature

Great Learners

Last Friday, Glyn’s Year 9 Art class set up a very autumnal themed photoshoot for their Natural Forms project. Students were tasked with bringing in things from the world of nature such as mini pumpkins, leaves, berries, branches, and shells. The display made for a wonderful photoshoot which will go on to allow students to explore editing techniques and eventually to inform lino print designs inspired by William Morris’ famous repeating designs. All students showed great enthusiasm and maturity and thoroughly enjoyed being photographers! Well done.
