GLF Schools was founded in 2012 in order to enable the federation of Glyn School (an academy in 2011) and Danetree Junior School. Together, we began our journey to become a MAT of more than 1000 talented staff working with over 10,000 children in 40 schools across 5 regions in southern England.

We are Here to Support You

Starting secondary school is a big step, but you won’t be doing it alone. We have:

  • A Head of Year, a Deputy Head of Year and eight Form Tutor who will check in with you every day
  • Support staff who can help you if things feel tricky
  • A friendly pastoral and SEND team

There is always someone to talk to.

Clubs, Sports & Activities

There is so much to get involved in!
In Year 7 you can try things like:

  • Football, rugby, athletics, cricket and basketball to name a few
  • Art club and drama club
