GLF Schools was founded in 2012 in order to enable the federation of Glyn School (an academy in 2011) and Danetree Junior School. Together, we began our journey to become a MAT of more than 1000 talented staff working with over 10,000 children in 40 schools across 5 regions in southern England.

There are more routes of educational progression open to our students than ever before.  Over the past few years, we have seen Apprenticeships becoming increasingly popular.

To support our students and their families, we have created A Guide to Apprenticeships within our Careers Information, Advice & Guidance pages of the school website.  There you will find a wealth of information about Apprenticeships and how they work. 

National Apprenticeship Week takes place from Monday 8 February to Sunday 14 February, for which a number of resources have been produced.  We have added an additional page on the school website to promote National Apprenticeships Week, and this new page includes A to Z case studies, an interactive quiz, as well as details of possible Apprenticeship routes based on the subjects that students have studied at GCSE and A Level.   We hope that families will find this information useful.
