GLF Schools was founded in 2012 in order to enable the federation of Glyn School (an academy in 2011) and Danetree Junior School. Together, we began our journey to become a MAT of more than 1000 talented staff working with over 10,000 children in 40 schools across 5 regions in southern England.

Support Platform - Glyn SHARP

It has been brilliant to see our students return to school this week, full of vigour for the Summer term.

Students are enjoying the easing of national lockdown restrictions and we hope that restrictions will continue to lift in line with the Government’s current roadmap out of lockdown.  However, we know that some students will find this period of adjustment more difficult, particularly after such a turbulent year.  At Glyn School, we have an online platform - Glyn School Help Advice Reporting Page (Glyn SHARP) - that families and students can access, with guidance and support signposted.  Glyn SHARP is accessible via the Quick Links section on our school website, or it can be accessed via this link: Glyn SHARP

Glyn SHARP page is designed to ensure that students can access appropriate support, and families know which agencies are available.  The platform provides education on various topics, such as grief, bullying, Young Carers and internet safety, to name a few.  It also has a section for anonymous reporting, if you wanted to make us aware of something without giving your name.

We hope families will find this information about Glyn SHARP helpful in ensuring that each child has appropriate support.
