GLF Schools was founded in 2012 in order to enable the federation of Glyn School (an academy in 2011) and Danetree Junior School. Together, we began our journey to become a MAT of more than 1000 talented staff working with over 10,000 children in 40 schools across 5 regions in southern England.

Level 6 Fencing for Angelo

Highest British Fencing Award for Angelo 8SB

I am delighted to let you know that Angelo 8SB has achieved the highest grading in foil fencing, having been awarded Level 6. This is an incredible achievement, requiring a great deal of technical knowledge, alongside dedication.  Angelo previously won the U10 Surrey Championships but has not had the opportunity to compete since March 2020, due to Covid restrictions. Instead, he used that time to hone his technique.

We wish Angelo much success as he focuses on competitive fencing and tries to qualify for the British Youth Championships.
