GLF Schools was founded in 2012 in order to enable the federation of Glyn School (an academy in 2011) and Danetree Junior School. Together, we began our journey to become a MAT of more than 1000 talented staff working with over 10,000 children in 40 schools across 5 regions in southern England.

Following on from a busy election campaign which has seen students canvassing for votes from students I am delighted to be able to announce the newly appointed ‘Head Student’ Team who will now take the reins from the outgoing Team. 

Congratulations to Head Students Selaka 12A and Lottie 12O1, and to Deputies, Joshua 12SB, Max 12M1, Cody 12C, Olivia 12M1, Sam 12M2 and Amy 12T.

Our Student Leadership Team are a vital part of our school community, bridging the gap between staff and students and ensuring that we continually strive to provide a fantastic student experience for every member of our student body. The team have some fantastic new initiatives planned such as improving how ‘eco friendly’ we are as a school and ensuring that Student Mental Health is top of the agenda. 

We look forward to seeing all they achieve this year and congratulate them on being appointed in these pivotal and prestigious positions.
