COOKING WITH THE ROYAL NAVY

The Year 10 Food Tech students spent the morning with two Royal Navy officers, Leon and Jason, where they learnt about possible career paths within the Navy. The students were then asked to compete in a ready steady cook competition, where they had to make a burger and chips with a sticky toffee pudding and a toffee sauce in 1 hour and 15 minutes. All groups did extremely well and were very enthusiastic about the competition. Well done to all students, and congratulations to Jude W, Aaron D, Lokesh D and Aaron D for winning the competition.
