Pride and the Student Leadership team

Welcome Message from the New Student Leadership Team

I hope you all had a lovely half term; the weather was fortunately very nice during the break and is forecast to continue for the whole of June.  However, there is also something else happening over the month of June, which is Pride Month!

Hopefully, most students will have seen the first of three assemblies that the Student Leadership Team prepared - ‘What is Pride and Why Does it Matter?’.  We have taken a leading role in coordinating the content and events that will be running during this month, so please support everything we have coming up.

This is a project run by the students, for the students, so we hope that students will engage with the material with an open mind and use this as an opportunity to learn something new.

This is the first event of many which your Student Leadership Team are planning for the forthcoming year, including obtaining goals on the field (which we have not forgotten about!), so please keep an eye out for everything we are hoping to achieve on your behalf.

The new Student Leadership Team hopes that the Glyn community will engage with our planned events during Pride Month; enjoy the nice weather!
