Glyn School 500 Club
Supporting Our Centenary Sports Pavilion Appeal
As Glyn School approaches its 100th anniversary in 2027, we are inviting parents, carers, alumni, staff, governors and friends of the school to support our Glyn School 500 Club.
The 500 Club is a monthly prize draw that raises vital funds for our Centenary Fundraising Campaign, which aims to deliver a new Sports Pavilion at Priest Hill. This landmark project will create modern, inclusive and high-quality facilities for both Glyn students and the wider community, leaving a lasting legacy for future generations.
By joining the 500 Club, you will not only have the chance to win cash prizes each month but will also play a direct role in helping us reach our centenary fundraising target.
Who Can Take Part?
Parents, carers, alumni, staff, governors and friends of Glyn School aged 18 or over may join the 500 Club.
A maximum of 500 tickets will be entered into each monthly draw.
How Much Does It Cost?
Tickets cost £5 per month.
Participants may purchase multiple tickets, subject to availability, increasing their chances of winning.
All tickets must be purchased through the Glyn School Fundraising Trust website:

Tickets purchased before the draw closing date will be entered into the next available monthly draw.
When Will the Draws Take Place?
Draws will take place on the 1st day of each month, or the nearest school day if the 1st falls on a weekend or school holiday.
How Many Winners Will There Be?
Three winning tickets will be selected each month using a secure electronic random draw system.
Prizes will be awarded as follows:
- 1st Prize: 25% of the monthly prize fund
- 2nd Prize: 15% of the monthly prize fund
- 3rd Prize: 10% of the monthly prize fund
How Are Prize Funds Calculated?
The Glyn School 500 Club operates on a 50:50 model.
- 50% of all ticket income is allocated to monthly cash prizes.
- 50% of all ticket income supports the Glyn School Centenary Sports Pavilion Appeal.
Funds raised through the 500 Club will contribute directly towards the development of a new Sports Pavilion at Priest Hill as part of Glyn School's Centenary celebrations in 2027.
How Will Winners Be Notified?
Winners will be contacted directly using the details provided when purchasing their tickets.
Winning ticket numbers will also be published through school communication channels, including:
- School website
- School Newsletters
- Social media channels
- Staff bulletin
The names of winners will only be published with their permission.
