GLF Schools was founded in 2012 in order to enable the federation of Glyn School (an academy in 2011) and Danetree Junior School. Together, we began our journey to become a MAT of more than 1000 talented staff working with over 10,000 children in 40 schools across 5 regions in southern England.
KS3 Science Club - Fungi
This week, KS3 Science Club took on the challenge of growing fungi. We layered damp sterile card with small pieces of oyster mushrooms and hope to see the mycelium (a network of fungal threads) grow over the next few weeks. Will we be able to harvest any mushrooms? We will have to wait and see!
KS3 Science Club meets every Monday lunchtime in S9 and is open to all students in Years 7 and 8. Do join us!
