GLF Schools was founded in 2012 in order to enable the federation of Glyn School (an academy in 2011) and Danetree Junior School. Together, we began our journey to become a MAT of more than 1000 talented staff working with over 10,000 children in 40 schools across 5 regions in southern England.

Surrey Youth Championships for Fencing

On Sunday 29 January 2023 our Glyn Fencers took part in the Surrey Youth Championships and we had some excellent overall performances from our students.

Several of our students achieved medals, and our congratulations go to:

Carskey (9T) Bronze Medal - U16 Foil

Angelo (9SB) Bronze Medal - U14 Foil

Well done to all those who took part.

This weekend our students are competing in the South East Championships and we are hoping to qualify for the British Youth Championships. We would like to wish them our luck and we will let you know how they got on.
