Difficult to see but this is the moment yesterday afternoon that 8 Abbey and 8 Tudor took it upon themselves to take the knee for Black Lives Matter at the start of their House Football Final. We are very proud of them. https://t.co/vo1BMJEo1J

Christmas Community Project 2020

Can You Help?  Christmas Community Project 2020

Glyn School will be supporting the Epsom and Ewell Foodbank as part of our Community Fundraising this year.  The Foodbank relies on the local community for food and household donations and we hope we can support them during the festive season.

The Foodbank aims to ensure that nobody in our local community has to go hungry, but they need help to make this happen. Any donations from us would help to make a real difference.  Last Christmas the Foodbank supported more people than ever, and numbers this year are expected to be even higher due to the effects of the global pandemic.  The Epsom and Ewell Foodbank Christmas Appeal was launched during early November and they are collecting over a four-week period.

As a school, we are focusing on collecting new gifts for young people aged 11 to 18. Donations should not be gift wrapped. The gifts can be targeted to girls, boys, or unisex.

Form Tutors, Heads of House and Heads of Year will encourage students to support this worthwhile cause and we hope that you will support us with this initiative. Students can hand in donations at Student Reception, or to their Form Tutors.

The deadline for donations is Monday 7 December. Please click this link if you would like more information about the charity: Epsom and Ewell Foodbank

Thank you in advance for your support.

Ms Jones, Assistant Headteacher
