GLF Schools was founded in 2012 in order to enable the federation of Glyn School (an academy in 2011) and Danetree Junior School. Together, we began our journey to become a MAT of more than 1000 talented staff working with over 10,000 children in 40 schools across 5 regions in southern England.

Wimbledon Tennis Championship Ball Boys 2023

Congratulations to our new Wimbledon Ball Boy recruits for the 2023 Championship!

Since September, about 20 Year 9 and 10 students have expressed their wish of becoming a Wimbledon Ball Boy at the 2023 Wimbledon Tennis Championship. All students have worked very hard, showing excellent commitment and determination in their training internally and during the external assessment day. I am pleased and very proud of the following students; Tom (9T), Luke (9M), Tom (10O), James (10T) and Samson (10A) who have successfully been selected for the external training selection process.

We wish all the students the best of luck during their training and hope to see them on court during the 2023 Championship in July.
