As the Autumn term drew to a close, our Year 11 Art & Design students were keen to bring everyone some festive cheer. The students organised and publicised a 'Sketchbook Show', featuring their work in drawing, painting, photography, and ceramics. Their initiative to make and frame lino prints and sell them to raise money for CRY (Cardiac Risk in the Young) charity, was truly inspired and raised over £200 for the charity.
Whilst we couldn't open our doors to the public due to Covid-19 regulations, I would like to thank the students for their hard work, to staff for attending in record numbers, and to the fellow Year 11 students who came to support.
